California’s Premiere Viking and Nordic Heritage Event is set for its 22nd year! The Vista Viking Festival will be held again at the Antique Gas & Steam Engine Museum on September 21 & 22, 2024. Come see our Viking’s in their camps and get a glimpse of Viking life. Listen to live music from local favorites Highland Way, Blindfold Monks, Silk Button Butchers, Damekor, and more.
Browse our vendor village, enjoy food from our food merchants, and wash everything down with libations of mead and ale from our Beer Garden. Try your hand at axe throwing, archery, and spear flinging on our Weapons Range. Enjoy Norwegian and Viking cultural demonstrations, competitions, and battles!
Vista Viking Festival is sponsored by Norway Hall Foundation, a non-profit California 501(c)3 and its member organizations: Sons of Norway Lodge 6-060 and Norwegian Fish Club Odin.

Updated Parking
We are happy to announce we have added 465 new parking spots at Vista High school with a shuttle service to bring you to the front gate of the festival. Along with a new off-site location we have also added more than 100 more spaces available in the limited premium parking at the AGSEM. Including more available handicap parking spots.
Vista Viking Festival Queen 2024 Applications
Vista Viking Queen will be accepting applications starting June 1, 2024. The interview day will be July 6, 2024. It is a community service centered program, open to young women ages 17 to 28, residing in Vista or the surrounding area.
The Queen and her Court will preside over the Vista Viking Festival in September, and volunteer throughout the year at different community events in Vista and the surrounding North County communities.
The Summer of Service will allow applicants to earn valuable pre-coronation points June 1, 2024 through July 31, 2024. The Vista Viking Festival Queen Coronation will be held Saturday, August 10, 2024.
